Great food good service but a bit slow.

Kind of accidently we landed here for dinner. A Cambodian/Thai restaurant. Not very hungry, but all ended with eating a desert, which is rare. So: very good food. Beers, wine and coffee were also nice. Friendly and helpful personnel, despite the language challenges (our French isn't very good, their English better but not first language).

Superb South Asian fare with ample portions, friendly staff and quality ingredients. Great atmosphere as well. Highly recommended! A++

Simply great food and very friendly staff. Can recommend all the Khmer BBQ piece. True KFC!

Five stars because of the unique authentic Cambodian cuisine. I ordered that day's special which was the beef tartar with soup. My family ordered other dishes(as seen in the photos) and everything was amazing. The presentation was beautiful, along with unique sauces, a mix of traditional Cambodian and their own dishes. I recommend you eat here no matter what you order, everything on the menu looked good.

Great atmosphere and food. We visited for a day in Quebec City and they extremely friendly and helped us out in english. A bit of a wait if you order a full course meal but was worth it.

I love the Pad Singapore! Delicious! Celiac friendly. I mostly order to-go from the cantine just beside the restaurant and inside the kitchen. Cooks work hard and make very tasty food. Affordable. :)

Food was just ok, maybe I ordered the wrong dish - tried the chicken skewers and the laos tofu. Prices a bit high in my opinion for what it was. Would not likely go back. Service was very good though.

Excellent service and the food was delicious!!! The portions of food are very generous! Very nice ambience as well. This is one of the best Asian food restaurants in QUEBEC city, with affordable prices.

WoW !!!! It’s just amazing and I wish I could have this authentic delicious food back in Vancouver. Definitely my favorite restaurant in Quebec! Really good service, very chill! Totally recommend this.

"Live up to the Hype!!!" Ranked #22 out of 1196 restaurants in Quebec City on TripAdvisor®, Hell Yeah! I can tell you, you will not be disappointed! The food is so flavorful and the employees will take good care of you. If you are a fan of Asian foods, you sure don't want to miss this excellent restaurant! Trust all the positive reviews! I highly recommend getting a reservation, as the place is really popular.

My girlfriend and I can’t speak highly enough about our experience! As American tourists, this is the most welcome we’ve felt in any restaurant in Québec! The host was extremely polite and personable and spoke perfect English. Our waitress was also very courteous and asked how we were liking the city! I had the street style Pad Thai and it was the best I’ve ever had! My girlfriend had the Saolin’ Beef, which she also enjoyed - just like Thai food should be: sweet and salty and not too spicy!! The restaurant also offers a great deal where you get soup, an app, your entree, dessert and a hot beverage. Should we ever find ourselves in Québec City again, we will definitely be visiting Bati Bassac first! This is, hands down, the easiest five-star review that I have ever given a restaurant!

I come from Montreal and I was not expecting this level of quality and uniqueness in a restaurant from Quebec city. A must absolutlely. They have the more generic asian food with a Cambodian twist as well as unique Cambodian plates. The amok is a must! Very satisfied by the food, price and service.

Had one of the best Pad Thais ("Street Style") ever. Great value for money. The reason I dont give it 5 "stars" is that our food was forgotten and we had to wait a very long time. When entering we also almost had to chase a waiter to ask to be seated. Apart from one waiter (could be the head waiter) the other waiters we had were not on the level of the food.

Amazing food, authentic place, caring and joyful staff. 🤤 I’ve been going to this restaurant since many years and I’m pleasantly surprised of their recent renovation. Can’t wait to take a drink on their new terrace this summer!ðŸ¸

Entree cold. Very slow on service. Got reservation for 7h45 and had to whine at 9h30 pm that we Didnt have any food yet. Came back to tell me it wouldnt be long, no sorry and it was cold. Tao was excellent though.

Found this place for the first time, we would return. We each got the pad Thai and my only complaint was there could have been a bit more spice but I'm used to that in Canada. Was really good though we'll be back

Great service here in English and French. Lunch was good value for money.

Great food. Mixture of Chinese and Thai themes, so its familiar but with an unusual and tasty update. The Asian ribs were great. Staff were good with food and recommendations. Worth a trip.

Best Cambodian/Thai place in Quebec City. Try the ‘Amok’ and their BBQ ribs. Was visiting from the US and we were greeted with wonderful service. Definitely a must try. Love, love this place!!!

One of the best amok I've had outside of Cambodia! Stellar service and a nice contemporary ambiance. Definitely going back asap!

Let me start by saying the food was phenomenal, very flavorful and I'll definitely be going back because of that,. However I'm giving this review only a 3 star because of the service. Our waitress seemed nice but I'm 100 certain at one point she forgot to put in our food order as it took something close to 1hour between the entrees and our main meals to arrive. On top of that when we did get our entrees, not every one got their food right away and so we were never all eating at the same time. I was very disappointed because otherwise this would have been a great night between friends, instead we had to then rush over to the ice cream store we wanted to finish the night at before they closed. Something that we thought we wouldn't have to do.

Good food, however the desert is not the best.

Amazing! Will drive the 6 hours to come here again. Sao and his team are wonderful

Delicious Thai restaurant, unlike anything else I’ve had. Such twist on classic dishes, we were pleasantly surprised. Probably some of the best food and cocktails I’ve had in North America. Despite showing up without a reservation on a busy Friday night, they accommodated us right away. The staff and servers were fantastic, so friendly.

Great service. Good food. Good menu selection.

Fantastic and authentic Cambodian food, papaya salad was very flavourful (though a little heavy on the salt).

The hostess was wonderful and explained the menu really well. The amok and Singapore Pad Thai were both really flavorful and on point

My girlfriend and I dined here while on vacation over Victoria Day long weekend. South East Asian Cuisine is my favourite culinary experience and Bati did not disappoint. We sat at the bar and we’re treated To delicious cocktails and had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Sao who chatted with us at length. The service was tremendous and the food even better. The atmosphere is great and I cannot wait to visit again. Be sure to try the Bassac Salad!

Great service! Good food! Good portions! 🙂

Just finished an incredible dinner here. My wife and I have been coming to Quebec for 15 years and this is by far the best meal we’ve ever had. I was legit slurping the curry from the amok and grabbed a spoon to get every last drop of the sauce for the kmher. Our twin 5 year olds slurped down every last noodle and gobbled up all of the dumplings. Tonight was the happiest accident. We would’ve never sought out Cambodian food in this town—so happy we landed here. PS—service was stellar, too.

Amazing Cambodian/Thai restaurant. They are willing to accommodate vegetarians without any problem. The food is excellent, the appetizers we loved: lemongrass doughnuts and fresh summer rolls (pailin rolls). We also tried the Khmer dish vegetarian. Don't miss the special margarita! To boot, the ambiance and service are fantastic as well. Worth a try if you are in Quebec City.

Best Cambodian food I have ever experienced outside Cambodia. Truly nice service and made an effort to fit us in this evening when they were obviously super busy. Thanks guys!

Wow, such an amazing experience! Never thought that I'd find authentic cambodian food in a small city like Quebec City! Would definitively come back soon!

While a little bit more expensive than Asian restaurants of the same quality in Montreal, the food here is consistently exceptional. Well balanced and executed I have adored every dish I've tried here. I particularly recommend the trio of brochettes and the Singapore style pad thai. There's a reason that it's everyone's favorite. Do yourself a favor and give it a try.

The new Bati Bassac transformed the classic Asiatic restaurant by bringing a modern twist to the formula while keeping amazing dishes. We went a Saturday night and the service was amazing for the whole supper. The ambiance is great and the food presentation is well done (kudo for the twist on the tired doughnuts desserts 👌). Overall, if you are looking for some good Cambogian/Thai food, Bati Bassac is a must try in Quebec City.

Best asian resto in Quebec City!

Best south east asian cuisine I've eaten, and I've eaten a lot of it in Montreal. If you're visiting Quebec city, you absolutely have to come here. Amazing food, great service and in a prime location.
